PROJECT SUMMARY

TerraForm Global owns and operates clean energy power plants worldwide. The company’s portfolio consists of wind, geothermal, hydroelectric and hybrid energy power plants in Brazil, China, India, Malaysia, South Africa, Thailand and Uruguay, with an aggregate net capacity of 919MW.

After experiencing earthing and lightning protection problems at their 60MW Boshoff solar PV plant, located in Boshof, the Free State, TerraForm Global appointed ADM Engineers (ADM) and RWW Engineering (RWW) to identify the cause of the experienced problems and to provide recommendations as to how it needs to be addressed.

To this end, ADM and RWW formed a partnership, where ADM is performing the engineering design and consulting services, and RWW will perform the required manufacturing and site works.
