Embedded Generation

Embedded generation refers to power plants that connect to a national grid via an industrial facility’s electrical distribution system. Captive power is a special application of embedded generation where the power plant is not connected to the national grid. The embedded generation power plant domains that ADM specialise in are:

• Waste heat to power;
• Combined heat and power (CHP);
• Tri-generation;
• Diesel reciprocating engines;
